为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称中心）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分汉语考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等（以下简称推荐机构）可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到中国大学（以下简称接收院校）学习和进修汉语国际教育及相关专业。

　　一、资助对象

　　1．非中国籍人士。

　　2．身心健康，品学兼优。

　　3．有志于从事汉语教育、教学及汉语国际推广相关工作。

　　4．年龄为16-35周岁（统一以2021年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至45周岁。

　　二、招生类别及申请条件

　　1．一学年研修生

　　2021年9月入学，资助期限为11个月。不录取在华留学生。

　　1.1汉语言文学

　　汉语考试成绩达到HSK（四级）180分、HSKK（中级）60分。

　　1.2汉语研修

　　汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）210分，提供 HSKK 成绩者优先。

　　2．一学期研修生

　　2021年9月、2022年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。

　　2.1汉语言文学

　　汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）180分，具有HSKK成绩。

　　3．四周研修生- 汉语言+中国家庭体验

　　2021年7月或12月入学，资助期限为4周。不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。

　　具有HSK成绩。由推荐机构组团进行报名，并事先联系我校确定在华学习计划，提前报中心审批，每团10-15人。

　　三、奖学金资助内容及标准

　　国际中文教师奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（四周研修生除外）和综合医疗保险费。

　　生活费标准: 一学年研修生和一学期研修生为2500元人民币/月。

　　四、招生流程

　　2021年3月1日起，申请者可登录国际中文教师奖学金报名网站（cis.chinese.cn）申请国际中文教师奖学金。

　　登录奖学金网站，查询推荐机构与接收院校；在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；奖学金获得者与接收院校确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书；按我校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。

　　申请截止日期为（以北京时间为准）：

　　1．4月15日（7月入学）。

　　2．5月15日（9月入学）。

　　3．9月15日（12月入学）。

　　4．11月15日（2022年3月入学）。

　　中心委托专家集中评审，择优资助，于入学前3个月完成奖学金评审工作，公布评审结果。西安交通大学根据评审结果，为获得资助的奖学金生发放入学材料。

　　注：在各类汉语桥比赛中获得2021年度“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。

　　所有申请者在奖学金网站完成申请后，还需登录西安交通大学留学生招生网站（http://isso.xjtu.edu.cn/recruit/login）上传我校要求的申请材料，完成在线申请。

　　五、申请材料

　　1. 护照照片页扫描件。

　　2. HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。

　　3. 推荐机构负责人的推荐信。

　　4. 未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华法定监护人署名的委托证明文件。

　　5. 在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。

　　6. 无犯罪记录证明（上传至我校在线申请系统）。

　　7. 外国人体格检查记录（上传至我校在线申请系统）。

　　六、注意事项

　　1. 申请者需提供真实、完整、有效的申请材料，弄虚作假，一经查证，取消申请我校的资格。

　　2. 奖学金获得者须根据西安交通大学规定按时到校报到。无故逾期未报到者，取消奖学金资格。

　　3. 入学体检不合格者，取消奖学金资格。

Application Guide for 2021 Xi'an Jiaotong University International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

For the purpose of satisfying the growing demand of the international community for Chinese language teachers and facilitating Chinese language education in other countries. the Center For Language Education And Cooperation (CLEC) will continue with the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship. Confucius Institutes, independently operated Confucius Classrooms, certain HSK test centers, Chinese language (education) departments of foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language instruction of other countries, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (collectively “recommending institutions”) may recommend outstanding students and currently-employed Chinese language teachers to study International Chinese Language Education or related majors in Chinese universities and colleges (“host institutions”).

I. Target applicants

1. Non-Chinese citizens.

2. Be in good physical and mental conditions, and with good academic performance and conduct.

3. Be committed to the Chinese language education and related work.

4. Be between the ages of 16 and 35 (as of September 1st, 2021). Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall not be over 45.

II. Programs and Eligibility

1. One-Academic-Year Learning Program

The program commences in September 2021, and provides scholarship for a maximum of eleven months. International students currently studying in China are not eligible.

1.1 Chinese language and literature

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 4) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level).

1.2 Chinese language learning

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK test (Level 3). Priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK test score.

2. One-Semester Learning Program

The program commences either in September 2021 or March 2022, and provides scholarship of a maximum of five months. Applicants holding the X1 or X2 visa are not eligible.

2.1 Chinese language and literature

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.

3. Four-week Learning Program: Home-Stay Experience in a Chinese Family

The program commences either in July or December 2021, and provides a four-week scholarship. Applicants holding the X1 or X2 visa are not eligible.

An HSK test score is required. The program may be organized and applied for by a recommending institution with 10-15 participants per group. Prior to the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with host institutions and such plan shall be submitted to CLEC for approval.

III. Scholarship Coverage andStipend

The scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance (four-week study students are excluded) and comprehensive medical insurance expenses.

The monthly allowance for one-academic-year and one-semester students is 2,500 CNY per person.

IV. Recruitment Procedures

Online registration will be available from March 1, 2021 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship application website (cis.chinese.cn).

Please log on to search for recommending institutions and host institutions; upload application materials online; and track the application progress, comments and result. Scholarship holders need to confirm with the host institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out the scholarship certificate online, and register at host institutions on the designated date as per the letter of admission.

Application Deadlines（(Beijing Time)）:

1. April 15 for the application for enrollment on July.

2. May 15 for the application for enrollment on September.

3. September 15 for the application for enrollment on December.

4. November 15 for the application for enrollment on March, 2022.

CLEC will entrust an expert panel to review the applications. The results will be published about three months before school starts. Xi’an Jiaotong University, based on the result CLEC published, makes and posts related admission materials to the scholarship laureates.

NOTICE:

1. Chinese Bridge winners who have been awarded the 2021 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate shall log onto the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website and submit documents to Xi’an Jiaotong University upon presentation of their scholarship certificates.

2. All the applicants, after finishing the application at Scholarship website, must log on to Xi’an Jiaotong University’s international student application system at http://isso.xjtu.edu.cn/recruit/login

for online application and submit the required documents.

V. Application Documents

l Photocopy of passport photo page.

l Photocopies of HSK、HSKK score reports (within the two-year validity).

l Recommendation letter written by people in charge at recommending institutions.

l Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant legal documents of entrusted legal guardians in China.

l Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment as well as a reference letter by the employer.

l Non-criminal record (submit to university’s application system).

l Physical examination record for foreigner (submit to university’s application system).

VI. Notices

1. Applications will be considered as invalid if information provided is incomplete, fake and invalid.

2. Scholarship winners shall register at Xi’an Jiaotong University at the required date, otherwise their scholarship will be cancelled.

3. Scholarship will be canceled for those who cannot pass the health examination when register for enrollment.
